You like it so much that you feel the urge to find out more about that song and find out more about the artist or band who sings it. You could do that by going online and using a search engine. Or you could take advantage of the functionality the Paul Steinhilber-developed SongStory app has to offer. Going online and using a search engine is an okay approach. Using the SongStory app is an exceptional one.

The main thing you are going to like about this app is the amount of info it will offer you. It will provide you with useful information about the song you’re currently listening to. Then it will provide a lot of useful information about the album the song is part of. And it will also provide useful information on the artist or band who sings the song. Or to put all this in a nutshell, it has a lot of song, album, and artist info to offer.

All the information that SongStory has to offer is provided by lastf.fm, which is good news. Why you ask? Because after signing into last.fm, you can add any info you may have about a song.

Using the SongStory app is quite a simple process: play a song, launch the app, access the information. It is as simple as that. There is one thing that has to be said here. The app may not provide any info at all if:
- the song you’re listening to is not tagged properly, if there are typo’s in its title or if the artist’s name is misspelled.
- there is no info on that song on last.fm. For some songs the app will not provide info because there’s no info on last.fm.

The user friendly SongStory app provides a handy and quick way to access a lot of info about a song, album, or artist. Definitely a useful app for those who want to know more about the music they’re listening to.
